Assessment of Lantern Festivals by Government Procurements

The Lantern Festival constitutes a specific tradition that originated from long-term evolved culture. Should the festival only consist of large number installations and visitors? This study aims to assess Taiwan (TLF) in terms government procurements between 2016 2020 according classification tender projects. classifications contribute comparison similarities diversities respect major challenge visitors exceeding 10 million two weeks. 140–234 projects each year presented 76% increment budget for services, financing, construction. differences made year’s TLF local-identity-rich event. Shared accounted approximately 54% all 654 items 66% budget. shared main demonstrated their importance transferring experience host city subsequent year. interpretation procurement contributed novelty project through acting as curator. findings an model local situation transfer, measures similarities, instrumentation traditions.
